April Nowell

Mrs. April Nowell has been a part of First Baptist Preschool since 2014 teaching Transitional Kindergarten. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of North Carolina with a B.A. degree in Business Management and Society. Mrs. April is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Asheboro, NC. She has been married to her husband, Mike, since 2004 and welcomed twins, Maddie and Zack, in 2009. She moved to Mooresville with her family in 2010 and fell in love immediately. Mrs. April is a very active member of First Baptist and you can find her singing in the choir, praise team and teaching preschool Sunday School and kid’s choir on Wednesday nights. She is most known for her love of teaching science and her interactive science projects.

Denise Celestine

Mrs. Denise Celestine was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to the United States in 2006. She is married to her husband Kevin and is the proud mother of two amazing children Khadime & DyJanet. She has been with First Baptist Preschool since 2016, and absolutely loves being amongst children. When she’s not spending time with your child, you can find her at church or her other favorite spot… The gym. Mrs Denise also loves to travel and spend time with her family.
